Mortgage Checklist

The following information is usually required during the loan process (documentation cannot be altered, blacked out, or cut off and most be completely legible):

  • Current pay stubs covering the most recent 30 days and most recent two year's W-2's
  • If self employed, a year to date profit and loss and your complete personal and business federal income tax returns for the most recent two years (all pages, including any K-1's and/or schedules)
  • Social Security Award letters and most recent 2 years 1099's if using Social Security income
  • Bank statements for the most recent two months, all pages
  • Investment account statements for the most recent two months, all pages
  • Retirement account statements for the most recent two months, all pages
  • Fully executed divorce/separation agreement/child support order, all pages (if applicable)
  • Fully executed Purchase and Sale Agreement with copies of any deposit checks to realtors (if applicable)

If you currently own Real Estate:

  • Mortgage account information (current statements for all mortgages)
  • Home insurance policy information
  • Home equity account information (if applicable)
  • Property tax bill
  • Homeowner's Association fees verification (if applicable)

Additional documentation may be required depending on the specific nature of your mortgage transaction.
